Leading international stockbrokerage is looking for a Scrips Settlements Administrator to join their team based in Sydney CBD. As a Scrips Settlement Administrator you will be responsible for processing CHESS movements, settlement of equity and option market transactions, corporate actions and international security settlements. Working in a team based environment you will be required to convert and manage CHESS settlement obligations, settlement of trades with offshore custodians and brokers, complete IPO bookings and allocations, and provide support to the wider business. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the stockbroking industry and to work in a collaborative and supportive workplace that has a global and reputable presence in the market.
In return, we expect you to possess the following skills and experience;
- Prior stockbroking industry experience with equity and/or options processing
- Experience with GBST Shares
- Familiar with ASX rules and compliance requirements for CHESS sponsorship and deceased estate processes
- Detailed knowledge of CHESS, Settlements, Options and Corporate Actions
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Has an eye for detail and fast learner
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Can work to strict deadlines
- RG 146 Certification (desirable)
- Experience with international settlement processing through a custodian (desirable)
- Experience with GBST DCA or a similar options back office system
