The opportunity?

You will be an integral part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will be responsible for driving business performance through the provision of value adding and insightful analysis.

This position is a Full-time 12 Month Contract (Maternity Leave Cover) at our head office in Heatherton,  VIC. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop new reports as required by the business
  • Analysis and reporting of selected key financial and transactional data
  • Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and the future financial performance to the Business’ leadership
  • Undertake financial modelling and analysis to support strategic projects and ad-hoc initiatives
  • Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts including engagement with key stakeholders
  • Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate the long-term financial planning process and develop metrics to monitor the performance against strategic objectives
  • Effective Motivation, Support, Leadership, and Management of Contracts & Billings Analyst, ensuring performance standards of the business are met

The ideal candidate?

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA / CA or CFA qualification
  • Bachelors or post graduate degree in accounting or business related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite and advanced excel skill level (V/LOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc)
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Financial Service back ground preferred – not mandatory
