The Role
We are an Award Winning Mortgage Broker Company that has been operating for over 16 years. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Broker/Lender Specialist to assist in providing specialist lending solutions to our clients for our office based on the Brisbane’s North Side.
We offer a fully integrated financial services business model that provides clients with access to specialists in Finance, Insurance and Wealth services.
This is a hands on position where you will receive and work through in house referrals and also be required to self-generate business.
This is a salaried position with a generous bonus structure for you to earn high levels of income.
You will be fully assisted by 2 experienced credit assessors ensuring your applications go through smoothly creating a better overall customer experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout the delivery of lending products and services to clients.
- Have a strong desire to build solid, long term client relationships
- Cross referencing lender policy to find solutions.
- Ability to understand and analyse PAYG, Self Employed
- Managing risk and lending within regulatory guidelines.
- Following and managing compliance procedures to ensure responsible lending
- Problem solving and a deep understanding of Lending Policy.
- Refer clients to our in house financial planning business for superannuation and life insurance needs.
Essential skills and experience include
- Currently working as a Mobile Banker/Broker or 2+ years’ experience in consumer business finance or finance broking.
- Exceptional communication, planning and organisational skills
- Be solution driven and can engage well with clients
- Ability to work well within a close team environment
- Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Mortgage Broking
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
