Volkswagen Financial Services Australia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services AG in Braunschweig, Germany. Our primary object is to offer competitive finance and insurance products to over 150 retailers across Australia representing automotive brands, within the Volkswagen Group, including Volkswagen, Audi, ŠKODA and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

We are currently looking for a Wholesale Officer to join our Commercial Credit Team for a 12 fixed term contract. In this role you will be liaising with external and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient management of stock and payment of invoices, payment transfers, acquisitions and settlements.


The opportunity:

• Monitor corporate customer lending limits in our internal systems in order to ensure all vehicle stock requests can be actioned
• Action internal and external vehicle stock transfers within prescribed time frames
• Preform data reconciliation between internal system and vehicle stock audit reports received from other financers and external vendors
• Action daily dealer payments whilst ensuring accuracy
• Liaise with financiers regarding transfer of vehicles, unit enquiries and other adhoc issues, including but not limited to wholesale settlements
• Liaise with manufacturers and confirm that invoices are paid and any outstanding credit notes are actioned
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and friendly manner
• Follow up dealers in relation to credit lending limits and act as liaison between internal stakeholders and dealer customers when required.
• Timely setup of new customers in internal systems as well as maintaining existing customer information  
• Participate in process improvements, projects, process mapping and policy updates

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in business or finance is desirable
• Experience in automotive industry is desirable.
• 2 years experience working in a customer service role or an account processing role
• Experience working in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify and develop alternative solutions to problems,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate
