About the role
Supporting Group Compliance & Regulatory Risk team in refining, implementing and maintaining a fit for purpose Group Regulatory Change Framework.
Duties
- To assist in the ongoing enhancement, support and maintenance of the Group Regulatory Change Framework including the monitoring, identification and assessment of regulatory changes and emerging regulatory issues which may impact AMP, including international regulatory changes;
- Engage ERM and Business Unit stakeholders to understand and adequately prepare for any regulatory changes to support AMP’s compliance with regulatory requirements as they change from time to time;
- Facilitate the driving of Group-relevant legislative change to ensure consistency in approach in implementing regulatory change;
- Provide technical regulatory change support to the CRO Operational Risk and Compliance, the Group Compliance team, the ERM leadership team and ERM more broadly;
- Monitor, identify, report and facilitate remediation of incidents of non-compliance with regulatory change
Skills & experience
- A proven track record in regulatory risk and compliance in the financial services regulatory environment gained over 6+ years with demonstrated experience in regulatory change management
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC and APRA), and current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirements, including Corporations Law; ASIC Regulatory Guides; FSC Standards, APRA Standards and Privacy.
- Strong knowledge of risk and compliance management frameworks, regulatory risk and compliance methodologies, policies and practices, with demonstrated ability in adding value in providing these services
- Proven ability to manage change and projects effectively
