An excellent opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team located at our Head Office in North Melbourne.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader this is a busy and varied full function accounts receivable role.

Some of your day to day duties will include: -

• Debt Collections
• Allocating and receipting of payments including progress payments
• Ledger maintenance
• Reporting
• Problem Solving and Managing Customer disputes until closure
• Raising Credit and Customer Refunds
• Completing Progress Claims – Standard & Floor by Floor
• Responding to internal and external account receivable queries
• Accessing & processing new account applications
• Ad hoc projects allocated by the Accounts Receivable Team Leader
• Building relationships with internal and external customers

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

• Experience within an Accounts Receivable role is preferred.
• An excellent telephone manner is imperative as you will need to build positive relationships while still being able to collect on outstanding payments
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Experience working within the retail building industry will be well regarded.
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail skills
• Positive approach and ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
