The Role:
An opportunity has presented itself for a hands on and results driven Project Controller to join a Leading Digital company.
As a Project Controller, your main responsibility will be to ensure financial performance for individual projects by preparing financial analyses, ensuring cost controls, providing recommendation for financial decisions and servicing as the main finance representative for assigned projects.
Main Accountabilities:
- Oversee accurate preparation of financial portion of project planning, and ensures alignment with overall project plan.
- Ensures appropriate cost control by identifying project work breakdown structure and defining appropriate project control procedures according to scope, cost and schedule.
- Coordinate regular project reviews and monitor ongoing project cost control status, cash flow, revenues, profit, gross margin and potential cost variances.
- Ensure project is appropriately structure, entered and maintained in the financial system in alignment with contract.
- Advises on financial and commercial aspects of proposals, contractual terms and conditions, risk reviews, contract structuring, tax issues, cash flow analysis and other relevant issues.
- Identify risks, initiates risk mitigation actions and prepares estimates to complete.
- Issues project financial status reports, including project financial data, costs and estimates of final project cost.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualification in Commerce/Business
- Professional accountant qualifications (CPA/CA)
- Strong project controlling experience
- Deep knowledge of finance and control processes and tools
- Advanced computer software knowledge including SAP knowledge
- Able to collaborate within broader business at senior level
- Strong people management skills, ability to influence and motivate people to best outcomes
- Influence and engage all the stakeholders to get work done and be really hands on in your approach
