We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who thrives on building banking relationships and who feels a sense of accomplishment by making a difference to fulfil a full-time Home & Personal Banker role. At SERVICE ONE, we provide comprehensive training support to ensure you are confident with not only all of the financial products and services we offer, but the banking system you will use to interact with SERVICE ONE Members. As part of the Alliance Bank network and being a mutual organisation, SERVICE ONE works closely with our various alliance parties, including Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, other Alliance Banks, our Members and the broader community.

As a Home & Personal Banker, you will play an important role in delivering growth via business development tasks, the opportunities that arise from this and the processing of loans. You will closely work with the Management team to aid in the achievement of individual and team goals.

Reporting to the Manager Branches & Training, the role will involve and be responsible for:

  • Drive business growth through Member acquisition and quality referrals;
  • Actively cross sells SERVICE ONE’s products and services as the opportunity presents;
  • The  processing of loans through to settlement/funding within timeframes and in an accurate manner; 
  • Maintains an up to date and accurate product and service knowledge for the provision of advice to Members;
  • Acts as a team member through helping, encouraging and mutually supporting others in the team and aids in the branch operational requirements;
  • Understanding, maintaining and ensuring all policies, procedures and practices are followed and adhered to; 
  • The completion of all legislative and compliance requirements;
  • Exemplifies SERVICE ONE values in every interaction with Members, staff and other stakeholders.
     

Previous experience in lending, finance and a customer service environment is preferred.
