  The role:

  As an Associate, we're looking for a confident and professional individual to support a Senior Business Banking Manager. This varied role will see you providing analytical, customer service, sales and administrative support.

  Key responsibilities include:

  • provide support with customer relationship management
  • assist with sales related activities
  • completion of the key components of the Credit Memorandum
  • complete Know Your Client process for new to bank clients
  • preparing for the approval of business lending proposals
  • process leasing facilities/quotes/documents
  • arrange and attend customer interviews as required
  • general account transactions and service requests
  • identifying new business & referral opportunities
  • acting as a key customer liaison point
  • work with Managers to analyse and assess customer's risk profile
  • oversight of workflow to effectively manage lending process
  • action term deposit renewals.

  Experience:

  You will have experience as a BBA internally at nab, analysing  financials and writing credit submissions for business loans.

  Strong customer service and communication skills are essential. An aptitude and flair for client development/sales is also required.

  Ideally you will also have:

  • a good understanding of the end-to-end lending process
  • attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • excellent time management and ability to multitask
  • a degree in business, commerce, law, economics or equivalent (highly regarded); or relevant work experience.
