Our client is an established institutional financial services organisation providing their clients with debt portfolio and cash management services.
  
This critical position will see you work within an established team of experienced treasury / investment professionals managing balance sheet risk through direct dealing with financial markets.
  
Key responsibilities will include assisting with

• Daily cash Management (11am and re-purchase agreements) facilitating foreign exchange, stock lending and repurchase agreement activities
• Transaction execution, ensuring transactions are priced and executed promptly and within limits
• Risk Management and Asset liability Management managing compliance with firm’s liquidity ratios

The ideal candidate:

• tertiary qualified with a relevant business or finance degree
• possess between 2 to 4 years financial markets experience, ideally from a banking or corporate treasury environment
• AFMA accreditation is highly desirable
• You will possess a thorough understanding of fixed income securities (pricing, valuation, risks)
• You will posses’ strong communication skills and attention to detail and will be a natural problem solver
