Work for a bank with a great point of difference! We have a great opportunity for a Consumer Specialist Lender to join a dynamic and successful team.
The role of a Delphi Consumer Specialist is an exciting new opportunity within our retail lending environment. Working with multiple teams primarily across the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, this role requires you to utilise your specialist knowledge of Consumer Lending to contribute to branch profitability and growth of our Consumer Portfolio. Developing strong customer relationships with new and existing customers as well as attending Community Events and functions, this position will require you to actively listen to our customers and provide them with relevant solutions to their banking needs.
A successful Consumer Specialist will possess the following skills and capabilities:
Essential
- Customer focussed approach with proven sales skills
- Highly developed lending knowledge and credit analysis skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work to targets
- Ability to acquire a diverse customer base
Desirable
- Advanced knowledge of computer programs
- Consumer and Small business lending skills
- Understanding of Bank policy, procedures & systems
- Community knowledge and awareness of key functions and events
With a minimum of 3-5 years Consumer Lending experience primarily in the home loan market, relevant tertiary qualification and leadership skills, this position is well suited to anyone seeking a new opportunity with a niche bank.
