About the Role
As a result of our expansion and exciting business model, we're looking to recruit a dynamic and driven professional with demonstrated M&A/corporate advisory experience. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful, expanding life sciences corporate advisory firm, and to grow with the company.
Key requirements of this role include the ability to:
- Lead domestic and cross-border IPO's, M&A transactions with life science clients, emerging biotech companies and private equity partners;
- Work directly with our clients' senior management from a range of biotechnology companies, private or listed, and develop opportunities to build long term relationships beyond transactions;
- This role requires the preparation of high quality documentation, including but not limited to, prospectuses and information memoranda;
- Manage diverse transactions including IPO's, acquisitions, mergers, divestments and capital raisings, across different points of the deal cycle from review to execution: and
- Work with other iQ teams at the leading edge, including strategy and investment.
This role requires a strategic Corporate Advisor with solid experience in M&A/Corporate advisory deals origination and execution.
To be successful you will have the following;
- A consistent track record of successful deal execution and client relationship management;
- Strong valuation, financial analysis and financial modelling skills;
- Good understanding of the M&A environment (public market, private company and private equity);
- Well-developed project management and communication skills, including outstanding client services in compressed time frames: and
- Degree qualifications (ideally Business, Finance or Law)
