Pitcher Partners Sydney is a Professional Chartered Accounting firm located in the heart of the CBD.  Due to on-going growth, we currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and driven Manager to join our Corporate Finance team.
Our Corporate Finance team are leaders in the mid-market space and are passionate about making a real difference in the transactions they work on, as such, we are looking for a passionate and engaged team member that wants to help make a difference.

The Role:
This is a rare opportunity to gain experience primarily across Due Diligence/Transaction Services with an opportunity to work on Mergers & Acquisitions and Valuations assignments that will give you a holistic view of the corporate finance industry.
We currently have an exciting position for an experienced corporate finance professional to join our Sydney team. You will be working with the team on transaction support assignments. You will be exposed to a variety of challenging and stimulating work across a diverse range of ASX listed & private companies. You will work directly with our group of partners, directors and clients, where the outcomes of your work can have immediate impact on the deal. You will also help drive the strategic direction of the corporate finance team.
Key to this position will be your ability to identify opportunities, network, develop new business relationships and strengthen existing relationships whilst working on a variety of projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial due diligence reports for buy-side, sell-side and pre-lend due diligence assignments
• Identify issues that impact purchase price and deal structuring
• Assisting with Investigating Accountant’s Report assignments for capital raisings
• Preparing financial analysis to support written reports
• Undertake financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
• Assist with Sale and Purchase Agreement drafting and negotiation
• Identify business development opportunities and assist Partners and Directors on proposals and new business opportunities by participating in the proposal process, building client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of client business
• Assist in general marketing and operational activities

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors in Business/Finance/Economics
• Excellent Academic qualifications including CA and or CFA
• Demonstrate keen interest in Australian mid-market M&A and awareness of deals
• Minimum of 6 years work experience gained within Corporate finance ideally within a Mid Tier or Big 4 Chartered Firm
• Strong numerical & analytical skills with sound business acumen
• Team oriented individual with strong interpersonal & client relationship skills
• Strong financial modelling & report writing skills
