The Role
The role is within our investment operations team which works closely with our asset managers and the investment advisory team to provide high quality portfolio analysis, performance reporting and investment support across the firm and to clients.
Working in a small team you will gain exposure to all aspects of our service offering, expanding your knowledge of the industry. This is a busy, hands on role, where you will work collaboratively with people from across the organisation.
About You
Due to the varied nature of the role, you will need to have a good balance of analytical and problem solving skills, and interpersonal attributes. You will need the capability to manage multiple workflows to meet both internal and client deadlines with a keen eye for detail.
You will need a relevant tertiary qualification and 1-2 years experience gained within a financial institution. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills are essential to be successful in the role.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be supported in the following:
- Preparation of tailored performance reporting and advice to our superannuation clients.
- Maintenance of performance models, including reconciliation of investment records and implementing changes and improvements.
- Review of unit pricing information, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Assisting with the settlement of direct alternative investment transactions.
- Liaising with clients, custodians and auditors to resolve ad hoc queries.
