Leading domestic financial services firm expanding its Line 1 Technology Risk function with a need for Big 4 trained technology risk advisors (not auditors) to engage stakeholders and ensure risk is effectively understood, managed and articulated.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the various project teams, the business, operations, scrum masters in order to identify and mitigate technology risks across the group
- Provide risk advice to internal stakeholders
- Delivery of risk related training to increase awareness
- Preparing and presenting MI to internal/senior stakeholders
- Ad hoc responsibilities supporting/covering for the wider team.
Experience/skills required
- 5-10 years experience gained in a Risk role within a large financial services company or Big 4 External audit firm within the Risk advisory/assurance practice.
- Strong engagement/Influencing skills
- Technology background with a risk mindset is the ideal candidate
- Strong communication skills both oral and written, organisation skills and a great attitude
