About The Role

Role Location: Sydney
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
 

As the Senior Manager for Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the AML-CTF (Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing) and sanctions framework, strategy, operational activities and providing expert guidance to the Wealth Division & Private Bank business in Australia.


You will provide expert interpretation on all regulations related to AML and Sanctions, oversee and ensure key compliance control operations are well-managed and report on the same, working proactively with all businesses to understand their environment and assist in identification of impacts of new and changing internal and external compliance obligations.


About You:

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Extensive financial crime experience, preferably as it relates to AML and CTF. Tertiary qualifications preferable.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing and negotiation skills at an Executive level.       
  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role, including people or team management.
  • Strong degree of know-how and ability to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Good decision making ability.
  • Experience in Project Management, including planning and time management.
