About the role
As the Director, you will generate new business and respond to new business opportunities for Trade & Working Capital, with an aim to create a presence and high level of product understanding and awareness within the organisation and the business market place. You will identify new product opportunities where TWC can deliver value for Institutional customers.
Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sell and promote specialist products and services.
- Identifying customer needs and matching to appropriate solutions
- Educating Institutional internal teams in TWC products and services.
- Responsibility for determining priority of overall workloads to ensure that objectives are met.
- Sell and promote specialist products and services from identifying need to closing sale with Institutional customers
- Maintain and enhance the Company’s image by capitalising on current relationships and seeking to improve the company image through public profiling and targeted image improvement initiatives. This includes establishing and using networks to influence key market sectors and their influencers
About you
You are a self-motivated and driven individual whose stakeholder management skills are second to none. With extensive experience is Business Development, you pride yourself on your ability to build strong and meaningful customer relationships.
In addition, you will have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry in particular within trade finance, supply chain finance and invoice finance;
- Be a self-starter, have the ability to think laterally and on your feet
- Have the ability to build customer relationships at senior management level and understand their strategic needs
- Be solution focussed and have structuring ability across trade and supply chain solutions
- You will possess an understanding of business cash flow and operating cycle
- An awareness and understanding of trade and working capital credit
- Ability to recognise opportunities as well as identify and minimise risk exposure;
