What's the role?

As an Agribusiness Manager 2, you will be part of an existing team in a regional centre managing a growing portfolio of agribusiness clients. The Mareeba area is one of the most productive farming areas in Australia and will offer diverse exposure to a range of crops such as Sugar Cane, Avocadoes, Tropical Fruit such as mango and paw paw, Coffee plantations, bananas, pineapples, cashews, Legumes, Grain as well as significant exposure to Beef as well as Dairy and Poultry. Using your business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers. You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen and driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced banking professional with relevant tertiary qualifications or further study in agriculture, your passion for agribusiness and farm management practices will ensure your success in managing and growing a portfolio of agribusiness clients. Your success in this role will progress your career to the next level within this highly successful Agribusiness team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating business growth opportunities through existing and prospect customer relationships
• Utilising your networks within pre-farmgate and post-farmgate local markets
• Manage a portfolio of Agribusiness customers
• Diverse portfolio covering sugar cane, tropical fruit, coffee, legumes & grain
• Use your strong relationship management skills to serve our valued Customers
