The core task of your role is producing reports and analysis for the investment team, investment committees and key clients whilst maintaining databases and risk systems. This will encompass transactional activity, operational due diligence, reporting, risk analytics, governance and compliance.

You will also:

• Build and maintain analysis infrastructure including risk analysis tools, risk models and risk systems,
• Develop and deliver analysis on portfolio performance and risk for the investment team, board reports and dashboards, Assist develop and manage specialist databases and data connections with custodians and data vendors,
• Work with internal specialists and external parties to ensure analysis and reporting deliverables meet expectations.
• Engage with other specialists  to support and promote the use of best in class analysis techniques
• As the organisation evolves new areas of responsibility may open up in the future.

 
To be successful in this role you CV will need to include a background that clearly highlights the following:

• Relevant experience including roles with a quantitative analyst component in a consulting, risk or investment driven environment.
• Strong quantitative and problem solving skills, ideally applied in an investment, consulting or wealth management organisation.
• The ability to build advanced competency in the use of analytical software and computer systems.
• The interest and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate effectively with a range of investment specialists and client relationship managers. You must feel confident and comfortable volunteering information to stakeholders.
• Awareness of industry best practice in risk and performance analysis.
• Skills in quantitative or data analysis tools such as Matlab, R, Python etc.
• Familiarity with the impact of client asset/liability profiles on risk and investment strategy.
• Hopefully your CV will include one or more of standard risk modelling systems such as BARRA, Northfield, Bloomberg, Axioma, FactSet or Aladdin.
