To support this, we are currently seeking a Client Service Manager who will strive to build a strong partnership between Mercer and our clients.
 
About the Role
The Client Service Manager acts as the key point of contact for clients and is instrumental in remedying issues, providing technical advice and working internally to proactively coordinate the very best service delivery.
Core Responsibilities
  • Work with the Relationship Manager and client  to develop and execute the account plan and manage the commercial aspects of the relationship
  • Proactively manage client relationships to improve client satisfaction and to optimise client retention
  • Builds strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders through regular interaction and engagement
  • Acts as conduit and “face of Mercer” to the client, providing ‘visibility’ of Mercer within the client organisation
  • Partners with other Mercer teams to actively promote Mercer services and products to the clients and membership base
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue expansion with clients by involving other parts of Mercer and MMC
  • Assists the Sales team as appropriate with submissions and tenders
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree qualified in finance  or superannuation related fields and RG146 compliant
  • Ideally, a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a client relationship or business development role within a financial services environment
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, both at the individual and corporate level
  • Strong consulting and relationship skills that are applied with clients and internally to deliver confidence and trusted working relationships
  • A strong understanding  of all aspects of superannuation
