Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Developing, revising and maintaining policies and procedures of the Compliance Program and related activities
• Develop and periodically reviews and updates AML/CTF procedures and guidelines as required by Regulators
• Develops and oversees a system for uniform handling of violations to rules, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of conduct
• Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk; Developing/Implementing corrective action plans for resolution and guidelines for prevention
• Establish and maintain adequate arrangements for awareness and training of employees and management on AML policies and procedures
• Investigate and report Suspicious Matter Reports to regulatory authority

About you:

• 5+ years experience in a compliance or regulatory environment
• Any certification related to compliance is advantageous
• Experience dealing with government departments and an understanding of the decision making processes of government
• A strong analytical ability and problem solving skills. You must be approachable, flexible, practically oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have knowledge and an appreciation banking & finance industry or ability to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
