This is a very important implementation and administration role supporting our para-planners and advisers within the business, with the end to end preparation and implementation of financial advice (superannuation, investments, insurances, etc.).

We are growing at a very rapid rate and need an individual who can meet the challenges of this growth. This is not a hand holding position - you must be able to work with little supervision but be a team player, self-disciplined and self-confident and have the initiative to take appropriate action as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Financial Planner assisting with day to day administrative tasks
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prepare advice documentation and research to support financial advisers and implement advice
  • Assist with the delivery of ongoing service in the provision of professional, compliant and quality advice to clients
  • Managing new and existing client's enquiries to optimise advisers' time with clients and ensure a positive client experience
  • Regular communication with clients and other business associates.
  • Client portfolio reporting.
  • Ongoing review implementations.
  • Ongoing model portfolio additions and removals.
  • Updating Clients on implementation status.
  • Assisting to prepare Statement of Advice

Candidates will have all or most of the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ recent experience with a Financial Planning/Wealth Management firm
  • RG146 qualification (Diploma of Financial Planning) or a degree or working towards a qualification within the financial industry
  • Previous experience with AdviserLogic, or similar financial planning software, would be desirable.
  • Has experience working in a financial services and wealth advice firm or dealer group.
  • A demonstrated aptitude and or experience working with accountants in accounting firms
  • Have written and spoken skills of a high level
  • Is well organised and can prioritise work easily
  • Have good presentation skills and be confident to present to others
  • Has an ability to work well with others, however has an eye for detail.
  • Be a team player who is confident and willing to except responsibility and execute through to completion
