The Role

Our Associate Risk Specialist will represent the Crowe Horwath brand and will be advice qualified (RG 146) with an understanding of Life Risk. Some knowledge of more complex strategies such as Business Succession planning and Group Life experience will also be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be able to produce results working in a structured, team environment supporting the Princiapl Risk Specialist. Possessing the ability to match strategies and products with the clients’ needs will be a strong advantage with a good attention to detail.

Reporting to the Principal Risk Adviser, this role will work in a team atmosphere with other Findex staff in order to achieve the clients’ objectives using the Findex process. 

Responsibilities will include:

Client Services

  • Building and maintaining an enduring relationship with clients.
  • Providing administration & technical support to the Principal Risk Adviser 
  • Providing timely, appropriate advice recommendations & research in the key areas of Life Risk Strategies.
  • Approach client matters with versatility and understanding.
  • Adhere to the Findex process including the use of all adviser tools

Business Meetings

  • Attend the weekly Adviser Meeting and report on tasks, KPI's, budgets and any relevant client matters.
  • Reporting and Knowledge Management
  • Report to the Head of Risk and Adviser Services Coordinator as required.
  • Work closely with the Administration Coordinator and any Adviser Support People and to ensure the needs of the client and organisation are always met.
  • Use the dedicated tasking and client management system to record all client information and track workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma of Financial Services or higher
  • Tertiary quliafied or in the process of obtaining
  • RG146 compliant
  • Demonstrated background in adhering to established processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with strong focus on insurance
