The Business
  
A highly successful financial services business is looking to expand their compliance function. Given the current market and regulatory changes taking place compliance is at the forefront of everyone’s. My client is looking for someone who is highly confident compliance professional to bolster their team into the future. They offer a wide range of financial products for both lending and debt consolidation and have recently seen a steep incline in business due to bringing on experienced BDM’s.
  
The Role

• Analyse the businesses compliance obligations
• Set up and maintain compliance policies and frameworks
• Perform root cause analysis on incidents
• Design and conduct compliance training
• Stay up to date with changes in laws, legislations and regulations and implement changes into policies and procedures
• Be the go to person for all compliance matters
• Board and committee reporting
• Ad-Hoc duties

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in compliance in financial services
• String communication and interpersonal skills as you will be liaising with and educating many different stakeholders
• Business partnering skills
• Improved and maintained compliance policy and frameworks
• Law degree is desirable
• Completed tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline
• Commercial mindset to implementing changes from regulatory bodies
