We are looking for a full-time Operation Assistant with one of international bank based in Sydney. This is a suitable for a person with a finance background, ideally with loan processing experience in a bank or interested in building your career in banking. Candidates who have accounting or financial analysis background are also welcome to apply.

The key responsibilities and duties:

• Register loan, repayment schedule and update/manage loan documents
• Involve in loan execution from receiving and confirming draw-down notices, permission as well as referring to Loan agent banks, receiving payment notices and prepare remittance requests
• Gather and prepare data on incoming/outgoing funds
• Prepare cash settlement schedule and cash flow table
• Receive remittance instruction forms from other departments
• Prepare remittance requests and confirm settlements and make necessary referrals
• Reconcile bank account balances
• Prepare reports for senior management and local authorities
• Manage credit risks and compliance
• Other ad-hoc duties

In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:

• Experience in accounting, financial analysis, or back office role in banking is preferred
• Outstanding analytical/numerical skills
• Advanced level of Microsoft Office skill, especially Excel
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player
• A high-level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work with various stakeholders
