Our Client 

Working exclusively with Ford Peterson. A well stablished IFA in operation for over 25 years, they pride themselves on providing complex holistic advice to HNW individuals with all clients having in excess of $2 million with the business. Through the years they have developed numerous people that have gone on to high profile roles in the industry across all segments. They are looking for an experienced paraplanner to join their high performing team. 

The Role 

• Work hand ind hand with the advisers as a subject matter expert on all technical elements of holistic financial planning. 
• Work with the advisers to develop strategy to achieve client goals including research and modelling. 
• Construct high quality accurate statements of advice drawing from your technical background and research expertise. 
• Assist adviser in the review process by producing ROA's as required.
• continuously develop technical knowledge including but not limited to product knowledge, market trends and compliance standards. You will be responsible for communicating new ideas and strategies throughout the business. 
• Adhere to current compliance standards as well as assisting the owner with managing the ongoing requirements of holding an AFSL.

Qualifications & Experience 

• Degree qualified 
• ADFP qualified as a minimum 
• At least 5 years' preplanning experience working with a HNW client base capable of producing plans across all strategies including but not limited to investments within structures such as SMSF's and Trusts with multiple beneficiaries. 
• Understanding of the complex needs of HNW individuals particularly this who own businesses. 
• Exceptional technical knowledge. 
• Depth of compliance knowledge. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Xplan knowledge essential.
