One of Sydney's best regarded Investment Banks is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant. This organisation is reputable across local and international markets and is well known for providing a broad range of both internal and external training for its employees. To be successful in this role you will need to be technically strong with a sound understanding of Fund Accounting, investment valuations and unit pricing reports. Additionally the ideal candidate must possess proven experience in staff management and the ability to communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
Duties:
- Overall responsibility to ensure that all deliverables are met
- Overseeing work of all team members
- Involvement in system development & process improvements
- Liaise with Clients to support queries & technical issues
- Liaising with Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers
- Deliver accurate & timely client reports
- Overall responsibility for compliance of documentation
Essential Criteria:
- 3+ year's experience in Fund Operations & Unit Trust Pricing
- Knowledge of financial markets & Instruments
- Strong systems & technical knowledge
- Excellent IT skills
