Corporate Finance Associate

The Company
A growing investment bank with a global presence currently expanding within the APAC region, in particular, Australia.  Looking to leverage their depth of experience and track record in other parts of the world, the Australian business is expected to grow exponentially over the medium term and has already kicked numerous goals on both local and cross border transactions.

The Role
You will utilise your mining industry contacts and technical knowledge to originate ECM transactions from $20m-$Bn's with capability in all areas of investment banking services.  You will be able to develop clients in the whole of Australia, and enjoy back office and deal support from regional hubs around the world.  This will enable you to focus on what you do best - origination of deals.  You will have the autonomy to go after other industries - oil & gas, industrials, etc, but initially will focus on mining due to market demand and current client book.

About You
You are self-motivated, confident, passionate about the mining sector, and looking to make hay while the sun shines.  You have execution skills, but prefer the origination side of things and just need the right vehicle/brand behind you to take on bigger mandates.  With a natural ability to influence executives and track record of closing, you want to work in small team environment with significant upside where you can earn what you are really worth.
