A global property specialist who operates in over 50 countries, they are renowned for being a market leader in real estate and for the job enrichment they provide their employees. With an annual turnover of over $5b in the past year, the business is poised for continued growth and needs a skilled Property Accountant to join the team.

The Property Accountant will be working across a portfolio within the companies client services group. There will be a focus on assisting in the financial control of a portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure rent rolls are finalised and tenant statements are issued on time.
• Assist in allocation of EFT rental payments from tenants
• Process client remittances, processing journal entries
• Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recovery
• Raise monthly management commissions, reconcile GST reports
• Ensure completion of month end financial reporting
• Contact client accounting staff on month end reporting

Key Requirements:

• MRI experience is essential, MYOB is also vital for this role
• Strong commercial / financial acumen
• Great interpersonal skills to manage a variety or stakeholders engagements; including clients, property managers, leasing executives and senior management.
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise work in an efficient manner.
