• $70,000 + Super - Temporary Ongoing

About the role:
 
Reputable business based in Wetherill Park is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.
 
The Responsibilities:
 
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager your daily duties will include but not be limited to:

• End to End Payroll processing for up to1500 staff – weekly, fortnightly and monthly
• Meet payroll deadlines for wages and entitlement payments
• 100% compliance with award and legislation interpretation
• Payroll tax, superannuation and workers compensation deductions
• Set up of new starters leaver forms, processing terminations and managing employee details
• Redundancy and termination calculations
• Monitor and manage correspondence, and respond and resolve all payroll queries

 
The successful applicant

• Must have proven and previous experience as a Payroll Officer
• Strong attention to detail, thorough understanding and knowledge of legislative / statutory requirement for Superannuation, PAYG Tax, compensation and termination of pay processing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to Payroll
