Client Details
This is a 20 staff firm situated in a southern suburb of Newcastle. After recently acquiring a smaller local practice, the firm has increased it's fee base and has grown from strength to strength by offering more services and adding to it's headcount with high-quality, passionate accountants.
The firm specialises in the SME space with around 200 self-managed superfunds. The office embodies a culture of productivity driven by offering a quality service to clients in a supportive team environment with energetic staff and the latest technology.
Description
As a result of this recent growth and a staff member going on maternity leave, the firm are seeking a Senior Accountant.
You will be able to be part of completing Business Services work for the clients including tax compliance, tax planning and business advisory. SMSF work is also available.
In this role you will work within a team and receive ongoing training both internally and externally as well as be client facing and reporting directly to the partner.
Profile
- Minimum 4 years experience in a Chartered firm
- At least 2 years experience in SMSF
- Ideally CA/CPA qualified
Job Offer
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
The role can be weighted more heavily towards SMSF or Business Services depending on the candidate.
