We are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant in this 6 month contract with view to permanent placement opportunity. Interviews starting immediately.

Out client, a leader in innovation and technology, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to start in this immediate opportunity based in Western Sydney.
Description
Reporting to Finance Manager, you will be responsible for;
- Assisting in the preparation of the balance sheet and P&L on a monthly basis
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and yearly reporting
- Post daily and monthly journal entries
- General ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the budget process and cash flow forecasting
- Assisting in statutory reporting including TAX, FBT and GST
- Calculate payroll taxes
- Creating and maintaining fixed assets register
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in finalisation of monthly accounts
- Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties
Profile
- Must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in an Assistant Financial Accountant role
- Partly or newly CPA or CA
- Experience in SAP, Oracle or any large ERP highly desirable
- Excel skills must be intermediate to advanced level
- Strong communication skills
Job Offer
• $60,000 to $70,000 base + superannuation based on experience
