About the business and the role
We are seeking a bookkeeper with experience in both management accounting & payroll administration. This is a hands-on role with the day to day functions of the finance department, but also including a range of financial and management accounting responsibilities.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Recording the financial transactions of a business into MYOB
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage all banking duties
- Follow up outstanding creditors, maintain records and provide reports
- Preparing and sending invoices
- Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
- Processing payroll and maintaining employee records
- Managing AR/AP accounts
- Managing company email & phone enquires
- Provide administration support
- Filing and organising
- Report and working alongside the practice manager
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in accounting/finance or related field
- Advanced proficiency in MYOB & Excel
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Well-developed analytical skills and experience in financial analysis, auditing, financial reporting and financial systems
- Strong communication skills
- Team leadership experience
