Our Client
We have partnered with a large Distribution organisation located within the Blacktown region offering modern offices with free onsite parking to all employees. This is a fast-growing organisation who have partnerships with large household brands and due to recent growth are seeking an Accounts - Credit Officer to join the team.
The Role
This is a diverse and hands on role that will report directly to the Finance Manager. You will need to have a proactive approach and thoroughly enjoy working within a dynamic and fun environment, be resilient and be forward thinking. You will be required to perform the following tasks but not be limited to:
- Daily receipting and allocations of incoming funds
- Taking control of credit limits and credit checks
- Daily Bank Reconciliations
- Daily / Weekly collection calls to minimise overdue accounts
- Weekly debtors reconciliations - issuing statements and invoices as required
- Rebate Processing - allocations of rebates as well as issuing rebate Credit Notes
- Assistance with month end reporting and reconciliations
The Successful Candidate
You will be a proactive and experienced Credit Controller who will work autonomously and be driven by results, be driven to take ownership and be a pivotal member of the team. You will have the following:
- Experience using large ERPs
- At least 3 years’ experience within a full function role
- Exposure to processing rebates and claims highly essential
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong business partnering skills
- High attention to detail
- Be highly analytical with excellent prioritisation skills
- Be immediately available
On Offer
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Accounts - Credit Officer to join the team on a temp to perm opportunity, commencing immediately. Your hard work, dedication and value add will help you transition into a permanent position quick smart. For the right candidate, this role will be paying between $27 - $30 per hour + super (on a full-time basis $55-$60k + super).
