The Client:
Join a leading Western Sydney business holding a key position within their marketplace. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Financial Accountant with first class communication skills to join a career brand building employer.
The Role:
Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager within a large business unit of this impressive group, your role will be to provide overall accounting ownership for the BU.
- Prepare financial statements
- Process journals and ensure timely and accurate General Ledger reconciliations
- Support the annual statutory reporting requirements
- Tax support: FBT BAS and annual tax return
- Support SAP module upgrades relating to the Financial Account team
- Take ownership of system improvements and work external
- Offer process improvement initiatives
The Successful Applicant:
- An experienced CA/CPA Financial Accountant possessing technical skills and a proactive approach to work
- Demonstrate technical proficiency with accounting concepts
- Will have a process driven mentality with a passion for continuous improvement
- A pro-active approach to work and strong interpersonal and communication skills
