Financial Controller required for an International owned manufacturer.

Hays have been exclusively retained to recruit for a Financial Controller for a specialist manufacturer in Geelong that supplies premium products across all of Asia. This company follows the culture created by their headquarters in Asia and is always looking to develop new products and introduce new ideas to their customers, as well as being well placed for continued growth and dominance of their market.
Your new role
Working as the Financial Controller, reporting to an overseas CFO your responsibilities are to manage and direct all aspects of financial management that assist with key strategic decision making and reporting. This will involve end to end accounting requirements and ensuring that you liaise with the head office function based in Asia. In addition, this position is responsible for activities of all administration and support functions including; HR, Legal & IT activities that enable delivery of key annual budget targets, while maintaining compliance with internal and external regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have previously worked in an all-encompassing finance role within a subsidiary of an overseas company. You will have experience of managing accounting operations, financial reporting, leading a small team, management of cash flow and overhead expense cost control, legal and financial compliance and control of other administrative functions. You will be used to working in a small team, be CPA or CA qualified and have good communication skills.
