A K Willis Accounting is a rapidly expanding Chartered Accounting firm offering accounting and advisory services to a wide variety of clients and industries. We are seeking a Bookkeeper who can join our young, fresh and motivated team on a full time basis.

The Role:
You will be able to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Performing all end to end bookkeeping transactions
- Payroll - including all statutory requirements such as PAYG, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax
- Accounts payable - including coding invoices, processing payments
- Accounts receivable - creation of invoices and processing payments
- Monitoring and reconciling multiple company bank accounts and credit cards
- Strong knowledge in accrual accounting and general journal entries
- Assisting the Finance Manager with the preparation of month end reports for Stakeholders
- Managing petty cash and employee reimbursements
- Liaison with internal staff, subcontractors and Stakeholders
- Liaison with external accountant (A K Willis Accounting, your employer)
- Liaison with external auditor
- Liaison with clients and suppliers
- General administration responsibilities
Experience & Qualities:
Potential candidates will have the following experience and qualities:
- Strong practical experience in Xero
- Prior bookkeeping experience
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Professional and will represent our firm with a high standard
- High levels of English communications skills; verbal, written and oral
- Able to work well independently as well as with a team
- A thinker, not just a do-er
- Must be proactive and be a quick learner
