A leading retail and fashion brand is currently seeking a finance business partner to join it's Central Sydney office. Partnering key stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region, you will implement performance management tools to ensure maximum value to the business and ensure it maximizes it's potential. If you enjoy informing business decisions, building and managing numerous stakeholder relationships and have a passion for the retail sector, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators as well as their variations in order to support local management
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process according to business requirements
• Support numerous business units manage all areas impacted by finance
• Support the business in evaluating the effectiveness of the internal control environment and business processes
• Ensure the controlling team is performing the appropriate financial and business analysis, and ensuring that all the relevant parties receive all the necessary information on a periodical basis
• Actively support and participate in business projects
• Reviewing processes and structures to identify efficiency gains and provide input for continuous improvements processes

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess a relevant university degree. You may have worked in commercially focused roles all of your career or trained at a chartered accountancy firm before excelling in a commercial role within industry. Retail experience is not necessarily essential, though a genuine interest in the sector is. SAP and BW knowledge is desirable.
