The purpose of this role is to partner with the regional management team, finance and operations to effectively deliver the business objectives around growth and return through the provision of insight into the key business drivers both internal and external, while challenging recommendations to ensure the correct business decisions are made.
  
Specific duties to include

• Business partnering with finance operations delivering insight, oversight and foresight
• Delivering analysis and interpretation of the operational, statistical and accounting inputs to ensure concise decision making
• Ensure best practice , standards procedures and systems
• Lead and manage the plant controllers
• Establishing KPI's for the business operations and operations cost centers 
• Leading the preparation strategic plans and forecasts across all areas of the income statement and balance sheet while engaging with operations
• Work collaboratively with the regional capital projects and asset managers the effectively drive the Australasia capital investment process
• Co-ordinate month end process, owning key monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables
• Traveling to the various sites, keeping on top market conditions and building relationships across the board
• Working on regional and global projects as required
• Assisting the regional finance managers to deliver results ahead of plan 

To be considered for this role you will need to be either CA or CPA qualified with advanced analytical and excel skills. It would also be beneficial to have prior manufacturing experience and exposure to a large ERP system such as SAP. A good working knowledge of financial accounting, costing internal controls and compliance issues will be required. You will also be required to demonstrate solid communication skills with tangible experience of working within manufacturing.
