About the role
This role is accountable for undertaking a range of procedural, operational and administrative tasks and activities, governed by established procedures and policies. This important role will suit someone with high attention to detail, a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and systems and a can-do, customer service mindset. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same and where team work, communication and collaboration are key.
Responsibilities include:
- Strong experience with end to end payroll processing
- Processing the payroll using SAP HR
- Analyse, maintain and manage payroll data
- Handling payroll queries
- Ensure compliance to relevant legislative requirements
About you
You will have experience in a similar role and possess the following competencies and experience:
- Strong communication skills
- Have the knowledge, skills and experience to understand, analyse, maintain and manage data
- Ideally have strong experience with SAP HR Payroll
- Excellent time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Provide support and advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively in a team based environment to support the work area to achieve business outcomes
- Understand and comply with relevant legislation, procedures and policies and escalate the more complex issues
- Take the initiative to identify and suggest improvements to tasks and activities affecting how own work is performed, to achieve more efficient outcomes
