This department plays a vital role in creating a better future for all Australians. Internal staff movements have created a vacancy for an APS5 Treasury Accountant.

Your new role
Within this role you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and well equipped team, you will perform tasks inclusive of, but not limited to the following;

• Oversee the cash management function
• Perform drawdowns from CBMS
• Oversee and perform tasks associated banking processes
• Assist with month end financial reporting and governance

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a candidate with a strong Federal Government background, you must be proficient in the above listed skills and have a strong understanding of Federal Government guidelines, standards and requirements.

This role is only open to Australian Citizens and you must hold of have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
