The Company
Australian organisation with a wide range of products and a solid history of success. Based in their Bankstown office is a current need for an experienced Senior Credit Officer to join their close knit and down to earth finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for a ledger or about 800 accounts worth about $3million;
- Ensure compliance of credit control policy
- Credit applications
- PPSR registrations
- Maintain stop service daily
- Conduct internal audit of customer records and files
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Build and maintain relationships wth Sales
- Continuous improvements
- Reconciliations
- Responding to credit queries
- Weekly legal updates
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar Senior Credit role. Ideally you will have worked within a manufacturing, FMCG or retail environment. You will have solid attention to detail and time management skills. Sound written and verbal communication skills are a must. You must be computer literate have experience using SAP and Intermediate experience and understanding of Excel. You will have strong experience with assessing credit applications, implementing risk strategies, uunderstanding legal compliance and have a proven track record of managing and recovering bad and doubtful debts.
