As a Business Analyst in our Tax Management Consulting team you can expect to help business create new best practice standards in tax processes, controls, outputs and automation solutions.

About the role:

Being a Business Analyst in Tax you’ll be part of an exciting team and area of Tax working to disrupt and enhance technological change and advancement in everything we do. As a Manager in our team you’ll work on both internal and external client facing projects and engagements and have variety in the work you do.

Leveraging your waterfall and agile project delivery experience you’ll make a significant impact and be part of our internal tax transformation journey, through promoting awareness of our didgital tax strategy and continuously innovate ideas regarding current state and improvements. As a Business Analyst you will:

Own and lead the business analysis process stream or work packages for projects within the Tax Service Line portfolio
Deliver high quality Business Analysis services to enable the organisation to change to meet its strategic business objectives
Manage ambiguity in project prioritisation with program leads to obtain clarity in expectations whilst also being flexible to accommodate changing business priorities
- Preparation and pro-active facilitation of business analysis process stream workshops to meet workshop objectives
- Researching, reviewing and analysing processes and developing optimised processes
- Use case identification
- Requirements elicitation and documentation activities to ensure requirements are articulated at required level of detail for business approval and implementation
- Development of process flow diagrams, procedure manuals and process training manuals
- Requirements traceability
- Preparation and facilitation of user acceptance testing
Develop current state documentation and work with key stakeholders to document future state operating models.
Ability to translate business requiremets in digital solution functionality

About you:

You’re an advocate for change and excited about process improvement, new technologies, growing a business and having variety in the work you do. No project or engagement is the same!

Being adaptable and personable you’ll want to build on your business analysis skills through working on transformational programs including process improvement/re-engineering. Key to your success you will bring the following attributes:

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to create project deliverables as well as present to senior stakeholders on progress, transformation and ideas
Ability to build strong and long-lasting relationships
Strong interest in technology and exposure to software development projects or database concepts and information models is desirable
Experience working in a professioanls service environment, or, within the Tax domain is desirable but not a requirement.
