You are an accounts professional. A numbers whiz. You've got 3 years accounts and administrative experience behind you, as well as some stellar communication skills. You're patient, hands-on and love numbers!

This is a 4 month contract on a part-time basis - 3 days a week (8 hours per day). You will focus on all Accounts Payable functions such as data entry of creditor invoices, creditor payments, phone queries, matching invoices to purchase orders, ensuring proper authorisation, account reconciliations, filing and archiving. You will also have responsibility for reconciling major vendor/customer accounts for inventory purchases including discrepancy investigations on quantity and pricing variances.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of Year 10, however part-qualified or studying towards a recognised accounting qualification would be desirable,
- Minimum 3 years' accounts payable experience in a commercial organisation,
- Prior experience of Navision or similar ERP system will be advantageous,
- Demonstrate understanding of fundamental accounting principles,
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing competing demands,
- Demonstrated attention to detail,
- Proven team player.
You must be legally entitled to work in Australia to accept this position and will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates.
