Our Melbourne Tax Advisory division is looking for a local Senior Partner with a focus on corporate tax matters to play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a best practice framework for the function.

This senior role is responsible for building a sustainable and profitable portfolio of clients in the Corporate Tax market. Accountable for generating revenue by winning new clients whilst continuing to service existing relationships, while always being on the lookout for opportunities to broaden a client’s scope of work with the firm.

You will also act as a mentor to your fellow employees and we will provide you with unlimited professional development opportunities. You will play an integral role in both growing the Melbourne business and work closely with the senior leaders to achieve the company’s goals across Autralasia.

You will have excellent technical knowledge, and a demonstrable track record of achieving strong commercial outcomes and business development skills. You are an adaptable team player who is client focused and committed to building relationships, achieving results and improving performance.

The successful candidate must have;

• 10 + years experience in the relevant field
• Experience in a leadership role
• Qualified CA/CPA/Masters of Tax
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent sales aptitude
• Solid negotiating and influencing skills
• Advanced Leadership capability
• Strong Business Development skills
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Thorough risk management knowledge
• Sound understanding of legislative framework relevant to service line
