Metroll is part of a national group of companies engaged in the manufacture, distribution and selling of metal roofing products with a number of plants in Victoria and interstate.

The Laverton location is seeking an experienced accountant preferably with a manufacturing background. The position is responsible for Geelong, Dandenong, Wagga Wagga and Laverton Admin Branch.

Key responsibilities will include

• Maintenance of general ledger with associated Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accurate and timely completion of monthly reports
• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss for your branches
• Assist with cash flow analysis
• End of month Stock take analysis
• Investigate stock variances, finalizing and update stock counts
• Maintain record of fixed assets and update depreciation schedule

• Timely preparation and lodgment of BAS and FBT returns

• Financial budgeting and forecasts
• Assist in analyzing cost of projects / products when requested.
• Any other duties as requested

Required Experience & Qualifications are as follows:

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting / Commerce or relevant business discipline.
• Minimum 5 years working in similar role

• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.

• Pronto experience highly regarded.

• Manufacturing experience highly regarded.

• A committed and can do attitude with attention to detail

This is a challenging role and salary is negotiable dependent upon qualifications and experience
