This global asset management group has significant interests across various asset classes, with a large and growing part of its portfolio sitting across infrastructure.
This key role is responsible for all financial aspects of the infrastructure group and its portfolio companies across APAC with circa $9B funds under management. The assets include diverse infrastructure businesses across Australia and APAC. This role has ownership of all financial reporting and liquidity management including management and statutory reporting, business planning, forecasting and budgeting, valuations, cash management of equity distributions as well as an array of projects and ad hoc deliverables.
Dual reporting to the global CFO and Australian COO it is a high profile and vital role in the ongoing management and oversight of this division. As well as financial and management reporting you will provide key advice to the portfolio CEO and CFO’s in relation to all financial matters, technical issues, treasury and cash management as well as identifying risks and capitalizing on opportunities. You and your team (approx. 10) will be responsible for risk analysis, due diligence on developments and growth opportunities (acquisitions, divestments and broader M&A activity) as well as funding strategies. You will also work with global treasury teams to ensure debt financing optimization and covenant compliance.
You are a proven and experienced finance professional with a track record in a senior role with a diverse, portfolio-based entity. Suitable backgrounds could be funds management, private equity or asset management. Experience of reporting offshore to a global group would be useful and you should be deadline driven and able to handle volume and complexity. Your style is action orientated, resilient and you thrive in high-performance environments.
