The Role
This is a true contract role for a senior finance professional to assist the CFO whilst the line manager is away on maternity leave. The company is growing fast and as such requires a experienced Financial Controller to hit the ground running and cover the manager from day one. This is the type of role that will appeal to a true contractor who wants to add value and do a good job, and then leave the organisation in a better position than where they found it.
The Role
Key to the future development of the business is the provision of quality information from its local and national offices and the role will include:-
- Compiling annual budgets & monthly forecasts
- Manage all Capex requests, ensuring they are signed and approved in a timely manner with the required documentation.
- Financial projections and business proposals for new subsidiaries and review and advise on operational issues
- Oversee the preparation of key management information and accounts and prepare the monthly Board Pack for Board Meetings
- Liaise with budget holders
- Provide strategic insight into variances and business issues, monitor subsidiary spending and ensure quality systems, controls and best practice
- Manage a small team in Perth
Your Profile
You will have to be immediately available, able to commit to the length of the contract and be CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified with a track record of leading a small team.
