Apply the breadth of your accounts skills & experience to support AP, & manage the AR & Banking functions for a top mining business, with interests both locally and internationally.

Foreign-currency transactions, daily bank reconciliations, ongoing management of staff expenses & credit cards, end-to-end AR (including collections & reporting), journals, contribution to audit process, and more!

You'll work in sparkling corporate offices in the heart of the Perth CBD and align with a hard-working finance team, who pride themselves on the quality of their work and work outcomes. Description

Reporting to the Senior Accountant you will be responsible to:

  • Full-function Accounts Payable, in conjunction with the current purist AP Officer
  • Appropriate coding and allocation of creditor invoices, against relevant PO's
  • Ensuring payment approvals process is adhered to
  • Reconciliation of creditor statements
  • Full function Accounts Receivable, from raising invoices to chasing payments, receipting, and running weekly debtors reports
  • Banking and bank reconciliations, on a daily basis
  • Management of staff expenses and corporate credit card usage and reconciliations
  • Foreign currency payments and invoice processing
  • Monthly journals
  • Assistance with audit process
  • Month-end responsibilities
  • Supplier & Client relationship management

Profile

To be considered for and successful in this role you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate relevant experience across AP & AR, end-to-end
  • Come also, with skills in month-end processes
  • Ideally offer experience using MS Dynamics, or at minimum an ERP system
  • Consider yourself someone who is willing to 'pitch in' wherever required
  • Enjoy building relationships with your team, and wish to commit to your next company, long-term
