About the Role
We are experiencing rapid growth and require a Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our administration and finance team. This is an initial full-time 12 month contract with the potential to become a permanent full-time role. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will help ensure all administration and finance related obligations are met in a timely manner.
Duties
* High volume data entry
* Invoice customers and reconcile accounts receivable and payable
* Reconcile the bank accounts and credit cards
* Maintain the asset register and finance schedule
* Process payroll
* Reconcile other accounts as required
* Other general duties as requested by the Commercial Manager
Skills and Experience
* Certificate IV in bookkeeping or similar qualification
* Xero certified
* Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar high volume data entry role
* Strong communication skills
* Positive minded individual
* Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment
* Strong attention to detail
